Energy drinks.

I was reading in the paper the other day and saw that the FTC is starting to investigate the claims of these companies. The concern is that while the ingredients do boost energy the alcoholic content could impair people from operating heavy machinery like automobiles.

Yikes!

That could be dangerous for everyone involved, especially loved ones. So I decided to create these energy drink reviews to help people make the right choices for themselves, the ones they love and affected consumers everywhere.

An important point to interject here is that I hold no professional expertise or medical prowess in this market. I’m just like you, a concerned consumer wanting to give my body the best possible. Well, that plus my knack for research, and you have me in a nutshell.

Overall, the reasons people are concerned with energy drinks include the following.

While energy drinks do boost your energy they also let you down hard so that you need more than one to pull through. In this way they can become as addictive as a cup of coffee.

Energy drinks also contain alcohol as I mentioned above. Given how little it takes for someone to become intoxicated the danger of driving while consuming them takes on paramount importance. Especially if you consume to many drinks in to close of duration.

Since these products are available on the open market, limiting consumption is not something many people think about. Consider that fact while reading the label on the back of the can and think about what you are pouring down your throat.

My general rule of thumb is if I cannot pronounce the words on a label of something I want to consume it is probably best that I stir clear of the substance completely. Even if I can read words like caffeine and sugar, there is enough negative press available about those substances for us all to know it is best to stay away.
